Teresa Garcia

Teresa has held various positions in financial services over the past 20 years, from Process Consultant to Account Manager to Digital Business Architect. Most of her career was spent on process engineering large-scale regulatory and digital transformation involving complex multi-platform system integrations or new system builds. She became a Business Architect in 2017 and apply the practice across several enterprise-wide transformation at Wells Fargo. She is currently a Business Execution Senior Manager at Wells Fargo in the Payments Transformation Team under the Chief Operating Office.

She has been a member of the Business Architecture Guild since 2017 and co-leads the Financial Services Reference Model Team.

Tim Hale

Tim Hale is leading the Business Architecture practice at Arvest Bank, located in Northwest Arkansas.  He has been an Enterprise Architect there for 6 years and is developing Arvest’s first Business Architecture knowledgebase.  For the past 18 months, he and his team have been focused on applying the Financial Services Reference Model, building the foundational concepts, and using it for value.  Prior to joining Arvest, Tim was an Enterprise Architect at Walmart Stores.  Tim is also a Certified Public Accountant(retired).

Jay Thakur

Jay is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience spearheading large enterprise transformation initiatives. He has a robust background supporting major financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs, Citibank, Bank of America, US Bank, Discover Card, USAA, and Citadel. He has great experience working with large consulting firms (KPMG, McKinsey, IBM, and Google) to support the enterprise architecture of their financial clients. He holds a TOGAF certification and has been associated with the Banking Industry Architecture Network since 2022
