In this presentation, two members of the Government Reference Model team will show how they applied the Guild’s government reference model to design and apply variations on a scenario to Obtain Land Rights. Stress testing a value stream with two contrasting scenarios, one for obtaining the right to own and develop land in a Western developed nation and one for obtaining the right to develop land in an African developing nation yielded insight and confidence in the maps and methods. This session will provide an excellent lesson in applying reference models in practice that can be generalized for other industries and corresponding reference models.
